Banks Quick Codes On Mobile Phones

 

Some banks in Nigeria have made it easy for their customers to carry out a lot of transactions on their mobile phones. These Banks Quick Codes come with different names for different banks.  . Some of these mobile banking activities include simply sending a code to a number using your mobile number. You do not need to download any App or have any internet connection on your mobile phone. You only need credit on your phone.

The mobile number for the USSD codes shall be the one used during opening of your account with the bank.

Zenith Bank Quick Codes – *966#

  • You need to register first before using the *966* code. Registration involves 6 steps.
  1. Simply dial *966*00# with your AlertZ number
  2. You will be prompted to enter the last 4 digits of your Debit (ATM) card number.
  3. The next page will display your Account Name and you will be prompted to create a 4 digit PIN
  4. Confirm the 4 digit PIN
  5. If successful, you will get a message “ Retrieving your balance “
  6. An SMS containing the balances on all your accounts will be sent to you.

A non account holder opens account by simply dialing  *966*0#

For account balance check, dial *966*00#

To pay for your Bills (DSTV), dial *966*7*Amount*Smartcard number# (More on DSTV USSD Codes here)

To transfer funds to other accounts from your mobile phone,

dial *966*Amount*Account number#, Follow on screen instruction

and complete your transaction with your PIN/Token

For Airtime Purchase for self, dial *966*Amount#

For BVN update, dial  *966*BVN#
